Platinum Compliance, an Ocorian company, has formally changed its name to Newgate
Compliance (Channel Islands) Limited and is integrating with Newgate Compliance as of 3 July
2023, in a move that consolidates Ocorian’s compliance offering.

Platinum Compliance provides a range of regulatory solutions to help clients in managing
their regulatory obligations and was acquired by Ocorian in 2021. Acquired by Ocorian in 2020,
Newgate provides compliance consulting services, leveraging a proprietary software solution,
GATEway, that enables clients to track and meet their FCA regulatory obligations efficiently.

The integration of Platinum and Newgate is part of Ocorian’s strategy to enhance its service
offering and best support its Guernsey-based clients’ needs today and in the future.

Platinum Compliance clients will continue to receive the same high-level service expected as they
always have, and Newgate will continue to operate with integrity as an independent consultancy
firm.

Aron Brown, Ocorian’s Global Head of Regulatory & Compliance, will head up the new, combined
team. He said: “The integration of Platinum Compliance into Newgate Compliance is a great
opportunity for us to offer an increased suite of solutions to clients delivered by experienced
compliance professionals, many of whom are ex-regulators, to our existing clients. Clients
